The headlights and taillights had to be rewired because the bulbs would burn out when they were months old. Occasionally the window belts will break and the glass will get stuck down in the door. x5 e53 transmission problem. I have x5 e53 from 2005 year, problem is when I drive downhill in automatic mode, gear D, board info display show "EMERGENCY PROGRAM CAMBIO" (italian menu language) and than i can't shift in manual and S mode. i stop turn off the engine lock and unlock the car.
